Revision 3, of the Open-Source Arduino MEGA 2560 systemboard, embedded computing platform, providesa ATmega2560 microcontroller (computer on a chip), with 54 digital I/O pins with 15 PWM outputs, 16 analog inputs, 4 UART serial interfaces, 16 MHz osillator, USB ports, power input jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

This system contains everything needed to support the ATmega2560 microcontroller as a development platform.  Connect this systembaord to a personal computer using a USB cable, or connect it to an electrical DC power source.

The Arduino MEGA 2560 REV3 is an update of the previous 'Arduino MEGA' systemboard; based on the 'ATmega1280' microcontroller.
